What does the name ALLAH mean?

Blogger: Omer Categories: , Tags: , , , ,

The name Allah has two words in it. “AL” and “LAH“. The word “AL” is an article in Arabic, like “THE” in English. The word “LAH” in Arabic means “Creator“. So when you combine those two words as “AL” + “LAH,”  then it becomes “ALLAH,” which means “THE CREATOR.” The very same Creator who created all humans, all animals, all seen, all unseen, all known, all unknown from Alpha to Omega.

It has the article “AL” = “THE” because He has no similarity. The Creator is ONE and has nothing like Him; He has nothing similar to Him. He has no family, no children, no gender. The reason we use “He” for “Him” is because His Name is masculine by analogy since He can’t be “she” or “it.”

The name “god” or “deity” is not the correct nor an equivalent word for the Creator (Allah) because the word “god” or “deity” is used for Jesus or Budha, etc.; you can find more similar gods in Greek mythology and many belief systems, such as the god of this or that. Some folks also use the name “god” to refer to animals such as cows, goats, cats, etc., also considered gods. Furthermore, the word god is used by many other people for handmade crafts or objects that are considered god. Paganism can be discussed to find more examples for the words “god” or “goddess” or plural as “gods.” If the name “Creator” is used for who created everything, then the same Creator can’t be any of those things above because one of the above cannot create a thing from none. They can perhaps assemble, design, or shape a thing from what has already been created, but they can’t create anything from nothingness, even a single cell.

A human can’t be a god: A human being that eats and defecates, drinks and urinates, inhales and exhales (farts), works to make a living to pay bills, takes rest daily after getting tired, sleeps when feels sleepy, has sex with others, cries when distressed, stresses when faces hardship, and being seen by others, touched by his human friends, hugged by his mother who had given birth to him, or being oppressed and suppressed and terrorized, humiliated then murdered by other people can’t be considered a Creator in the compression of word god! Because if the word god meant Creator, then the Creator ought not to do or go through anything listed above as He should not at least be murdered by His creation! If a god is murdered by his creation, then he can’t be a god/Creator.

A human can’t bear all sins: Let’s say if a god is murdered by his creation, then who sustains this universe?! If this god is 3, he dies, and two are left; the god can only be two, not three, as one is already gone. If one can’t bear the sins of his mother, father, son, daughter, friend, or stranger, then why should Jesus voluntarily want to be killed by Jewish people 2000 years ago just to bear the crimes and sins of entire humans?! Jews admit and accept that they killed Jesus, and they do not deny it. Suppose Jesus wanted to be murdered in such a painful way, and was that because he wanted to die for the sins of millions of people in his time and the billions more in generations to come in the future who would fornicate, drink, kill, loot, rape, gamble, lie, cheat, scam, infiltrate, murder, kidnap, steal, do corruption and perform so much more evil on the land? Can one man handle all that sin of all mankind?! If Jesus died for the sins of the people for his time and future, then who died for the sins of people before him?!
